Conducting investigations for trademark registerability

Conducting investigations for trademark registerability

Conducting investigations for trademark registerability is aimed at ensuring that a given trademark is novel, i.e. has not been awarded any trademark protection rights, or is not applying for trademark protection rights granting to the benefit of another natural person or enterprise.

When such registerability investigation has been conducted, unnecessary costs are avoided which would otherwise be incurred towards the application filing fee should it happen that the trademark might not be awarded the protection rights applied for.
