Abolition of the obligation of keeping the Court and Commercial Gazette

In Poland entrepreneurs have a lot obligations imposed by the provisions of law. A great number of them are justifiable, for instance those concerning security in business transactions. Some, however, constitute an unnecessary burden, which entrepreneurs have to bear into account. Such was the case with regards to the obligation of keeping on the entrepreneur’s seat premises all issues of the Court and Commercial Gazette which contained announcements concerning that entrepreneur, as prescribed by the Act of 22 December 1995 on the Court and Commercial Gazette Issuance. That was considered so much redundant that the Court and Commercial Gazette was made in 2012, by a decision of the Ministry of Justice, available on the Internet. Everyone could familiarize themselves in an easy manner with occurrences concerning a given business entity. On 30 November 2013, an amendment entered into force on the Court and Commercial Gazette Issuance, which finally abolished the above-mentioned obligation.
